Our story began in July of 2022. Alyssa had been asked to be the Maid of Honor for her friend's wedding and was tasked with the job of finding a +1 for the event. So, with the pressure on, she went off and began searching Hinge. There, after some chat and banter, Jon and Alyssa set up their first date, a simple meeting at a coffee shop.

What was meant to be a relatively short hour-long hangout became 5 hours of conversation and chemistry. Followed by a series of dates that all shared the common trait of lasting far longer than intended and frequently closing out restaurants or bars.

Within a few months, it was clear to both of them that the relationship they had was leading to something bigger. So Jon popped the question. "Will you join my D&D group?" Despite its share of ups and downs, their relationship continued to blossom and grow.

3 years later, they were happily living together with their two loveable cats. In July of 2025, Jon hatched a plan to move their relationship forward in a new way. On a sunset at Red River Gorge, Jon proposed to Alyssa. To which, she of course, happily said yes.
